Community Service - Project Linus, Cards for Hospitalized Kids

The Team's first community service event will be at the McDonnell house** on Tuesday, September 18th @ 7:00 PM. The boys will be making fleece blankets to benefit Project Linus (https://www.projectlinus.org) and making cards for kids in the hospital (http://www.cardsforhospitalizedkids.com)

For this, I am asking that each boy that comes brings either:

- a 1 1/2 yard cut of fleece material in bright colors or patterns, or

- materials to make and decorate cards. Please keep in mind that because the cards are going to children in the hospital, we are not able to use glitter or any other such material that might easily come loose from the card. Glitter glue is ok.

Also, sharp scissors and an extra parent or two would be appreciated.
